Your goals
My goals are mainly to have fun growing into a stronger runner. I like results, so I push myself to get faster. I want to be able to run under 20 minutes and get faster in the 800m and 1600m

Anything you've overcome to get to this point in your athletic career?
Running is a mental sport and people do get nervous before a race. Honestly, from the beginning, days before a meet I would get nervous and always push myself down. I would get so nervous I would even puke before a race, and I would tell myself I couldn't do it. As the years progressed, I still do get nervous, but I taught myself that in order to push yourself, you have to believe in yourself. Since then, I have become a better runner.

What sort of school are you looking to become a part of?
A school that is good academically and that can push me as an athlete as well. Also, provide an athletic scholarship.

Why do you enjoy track and field/cross country? Why do you wish to compete in college?
I enjoy track/XC because it shows me what I am capable of. It takes a lot to put yourself in pain voluntarily, and because of that, you come out as a better person. So I like to go beyond that and make sure I make the best out of it. I want to compete in college in order to further push myself in running. This way I can see what type of person I really am, and see how far I can push myself.
