A couple of days ago, we took a look at what we know now about next year's Division 3 track and field possibilities. It's time now to do the same with Division 2.
To rehearse some of the basics, the analyses shown below takes the best marks posted from the season just completed, scores them as an eight-deep track meet, then breaks those results down by team. This gives a very good first look at what to expect for next year. It, of course, does not include incoming freshmen, nor does it take into account those athletes who develop a lot in the next year and/or put in the extra work that only a few are willing to do. But, the analyses do mark a spot on the ground that represents nicely where we are now. Then, we'll have to wait and see what next track season holds and how that will modify what is shown below.
