Lincoln Prep junior Alexis Ortiz in the Division IV girls race at the 2021 AIA State Cross Country Championships. Ortiz ran 22.17.60 to finish in 22nd place at last year's state meet for cross country. She qualified for the state track meet this past spring in the 800m (2:26.94), 1600m (5:32.24) and 3200m (12:41.75). Ortiz comes into this 2022 cross county season at the second-fastest returning athlete in the Division IV East section over 5,000 meters with her time of 20:10.00.
