In this week's edition of Arizona Future Stars, we'll be looking at recent standout sophomore performances.
Arizona, if you haven't already, meet Nyall Prather of Page High School!
Sitting No.2 in the sophomore class, Prather has been consistently dropping time this fall - he most recently dropped a 16:07.90 at the Ojo Rojo XC Invite two weeks ago to place 10th overall in a talented field. Last season as a freshman, he clocked 16:52.40 at the same meet.
The Page sophomore has shown steady improvement in the past year. On the track last spring as a freshman, he ran 2:03.42 (800m), 4:31.07 (1600m), and 9:38.27 (3200m).
We can expect to see an improvement from Prather's 26th place finish at last season's AIA State Championship (D2/D3)!
