1st Annual Battle at the Border,
When: Saturday, September 4th, 2021
Where: Nogales High School
Course: Nogales Cross Country CourseCoaches, thank you for joining us to kick off the 2021 Cross Country Season. Nogales High School is hosting this event that will take place on our fun, yet challenging, course on the NHS campus at 1905 N. Apache Blvd. The staging area will be on our football field, where teams are welcome to set up camp. Restrooms and concessions will be available to all, as well as T-shirts and other merchandise.
All athletes must check in 15 minutes prior to the start of their race. Course monitors will also be on hand to support student athletes during their race, as well as an Athletic Trainer in case of any emergencies/injuries.Race

8:15 AM - Presentation of Colors/National Anthem
8:30 AM - Girls Open Race
9:15 AM - Girls Varsity
10:00 AM - Boys Open Race
10:45 AM - Boys Varsity
11:30 AM - Awards Ceremony
Parking: School buses, vans and spectators' vehicles may park in the student parking lot, located at the south end of the school where you enter.
Awards: Varsity team trophies will be presented for 1st-2nd places. Varsity Races: Medals to top 15 finishers, Boys and Girls. Open Races: Medals to top 15 finishers, Boys and Girls.
Entries: All entries must be made on Athletic.net. Entries will be open and close at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.
Fee: $150.00/gender. $275.00 for both boys and girls. Individuals: $20.00. Payments can be mailed to Nogales High School, C/O Cross Country, 1905 Apache Blvd., Nogales, AZ 85621. Checks should be made out to Nogales High School Cross Country. Hospitality Rm: Coaches and Officials will be provided with a hospitality room, located in the weight room at the top entrance to the field.
