When entries are closed. There will be no alternates or substitutions for any individual event. A substitution may be made in a relay event, but it is expected that such substitution will not significantly change the result of that relay teams performance.

Seeding:

The lane races will be seeded so that the fastest eight runners are in the final heat, the next fastest in the first heat. The races will be run from the slowest to fastest heat.

In the distance races (800m, 1600m, and 3200m) will be using a box-alley start. There will be one heat per gender of each of the 800m 1600m and 3200m races.

The 4 x 100m and the 4 x 400m (3-turn stagger) will be seeded using the same process as lane races and the 4 x 800m will be contested in one heat using a box alley start. Keep in mind that it is the team's responsibility for following all NFHS rules such as matching uniforms, etc.

The pole vault and high jump will be seeded in reverse order of measurement. Therefore the last person in the seeding will have the best overall mark.

Number of Entries Per School:

4 per school per gender in the Lane races, 4 per school per gender for the Field events. FAT entries from the 2021 year will take priority for seeding purposes.
