The Salpointe Catholic Lancers are proud to host the 3rd annual
John Gleeson Lancer Invitational.
This is an AIA sanctioned Cross Country Invitational honoring the memory of Coach John Gleeson, former Cross Country and Baseball coach at Salpointe Catholic and Flowing Wells.
When: Saturday, October 15, 2022
Where: Rolling Hills Golf Course - 8900 E. 29th St Tucson, AZ 85710
Course: 5K course on golf course. Two loops on grass/dirt. Spectator-friendly.
Registration and Entries: $300 boys and girls or $200 for a single team

Entries open Wednesday, July 29 at 9 AM and close at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
Race Schedule: 6:30 AM - Venue opens for course walk through
7:30 AM --Coaches' meeting
8:00 AM -- Boys Varsity - 7 entries
8:30 AM --Girls Varsity - 7 entries
9:15 AM -- Boys Open - unlimited entries
10:00 AM --Girls Open - unlimited entries
Scoring and Awards: The Varsity races will have traditional Cross Country scoring. A team must have at least 5 runners complete the race to have a team score. The Open races will not be scored. Medals to the top 30 in each race (varsity, open). Trophies to the top three finishers in each varsity race. Team trophies to the winning and runner-up teams in the varsity races.
