Buckeye Lions Invite meet run through the Buckeye Union High School Track and Field program. 

The cost for attendance and competition at the event is $400 for the combined co-ed teams of any one



school. 

If a school chooses to only bring one gender of their team the cost is $200. 

There are no individual entries allowed so there will be no charge per individual.

later than 9:00 pm on WED, MARCH 1, 2023 at ATHLETIC.NET. AND MILESPLIT

the day of the meet. Also enter them on milesplit for THIS MEET

Awards:

The following trophies will be



awarded: Champion, Runner-up, and Outstanding Performer. Medals will be



awarded to the first 8 places in each event. In addition, each athlete on



the winning team will also receive an individual award. THIS IS THE 67th



ANNUAL LIONS CLUB MEET. Medals will be presented to each coach at the end



of the meet to give to their winning athletes.

Scoring: Scoring will be as follows:



10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. Scoring will be the same in all events and relays.

IS A STATE QUALIFIER, WE HAD WAY TOO MANY ATHLETES WHO WERE NOT EVEN



CLOSE TO THE HOG LINE THUS EVENTS TOOK WAY TOO LONG!!

Pole Vault will start at 9:00 AM for



the boys and run straight through until finished. Girls will follow.

Heats for the 1600 Meter Run, 3200



Meter Run & 3200 meter Relay will be determined by the number of entrants in each event.

Weigh In for Implements:   Shots, Discs and Javelin's will be weighed in our AFROTC Portable building south of the field. Weigh Ins will take place at 7:30 a.m. for Jav, 8:30 for SP/Discus

THE POLES FOR THE POLE VAULT WILL NOT BE WEIGHED. Please bring the completed Pole Vaulter's Verification Form



(One for boys and One for Girls),

Coaches Meeting:

The Coaches meeting will be in the



lobby of the new gym at 8:00 AM. Please be on time, scratches will be



made at this time. NO ADDITIONS WILL BE MADE. NO REPLACEMENTS ALLOWED!

Each contestant will be restricted to 4 events, including relays.

Each school is limited to 3 entries in each event.

Hospitality Room will be available for Coaches, Officials, and Workers ONLY.

Each Team will be given tickets for the coaches for lunch.

This meet will be a state qualifier for all teams.

VAULTER'S VERIFICATION FORM

The below named pole vaulters are



using a legal vaulting pole and meet the weight requirement.

The vaulter's weight shall be at or below the manufacturer's pole rating. The manufacturer's pole rating



shall be visible in a " contrasting color, as well as a 1" circular band indicating the maximum top hand hold. Pole rating markings are to be located above the hand-hold band. A pole not properly marked shall not be 



used in warm-up or competition. The location of the band indicating the top hand-hold position shall be determined by the manufacturer.

It is the responsibility of the coach to verify that the vaulter will use a pole rated at or above the vaulter's weight and that a legal pole (s) has been provided for that competitor.

Competitors who use a pole rated below the vaulter's weight, in warm-up or competition, shall be disqualified from that event. It shall count as an unsuccessful trial when the vaulter grips the pole above the top hand hold band.

Training poles shall not be used in warm-up or in competition.
