Happy New Year! I Hope this email finds you and your family well.
We would like to invite you to participate in the 18th Annual Mario Castro Track and Field Invitational scheduled for March 18 2022.
Mario Castro was a gifted and talented athlete who brought the spot-light to the Southside through his running. More importantly, he pioneered the way and demonstrated to others that if you worked hard and dedicated yourself to your sport and schooling, you could also acquire a higher education. He was the first of many other runners from Sunnyside to continue running at the college level. He inspired and challenged Southside kids to earn their college degrees and to be productive member in our community.
Additionally, wed like to thank in advance our officials & volunteers who will help make this event one of the outstanding meets in Southern Arizona.
