Dear Athletic Director/Coach,
Your Cross Country team is cordially invited to attend the 46th annual Ray Wherley Cross Country Invitational in Prescott. Featuring unique race and scoring formats, cool temperatures, and a challenging elevation, the Ray Wherley XC Invitational is one of the premier XC invitationals in Arizona.

| Entry Fee: | $150.00 per team, or $275.00 for both Boys & Girls teams from the same school. |
| Registration: | On athletic.net. All entries due no later than September 20th at 11:59pm. |

Coaches meeting: 8:45am in the Hospitality Ramada
Varsity Races (4 flights) beginning at 9:00am

Novice Race after finish of varsity races (Freshmen & Sophomores only): 11:00am
Junior/Senior Race (for those not in your top 7) after finish of Novice Race: 11:45am
VARSITY FORMAT: Scored according to the fastest cumulative team time. To be eligible for the team championship, a team must have seven runners. Will be run in four separate flights. Flight one will have runners 7 and 6, flight two will have runners 5 and 4, flight three will have runners 3 and 2, and flight four will have each teams #1 runner.
NOVICE AND JR/SR: Two races, one for the Freshman/Sophomore runners only; and the other for Junior/Senior runners.
Each boys and girls race will run concurrently. Any non-finishers will be given a time of 59 minutes for team scoring purposes.
AWARDS:
Boys Varsity: Top 8 individuals from each race & top 2 teams overall
Girls Varsity: Top 8 individuals from each race & top 2 teams overall
Boys Novice & Jr/Sr Races: Top 16 individualsGirls Novice & Jr/Sr Races: Top 16 individuals
