Race Description: This is an
under-distance "rust buster" event designed to give students a chance
to kick off the XC season with a manageable distance regardless of experience
or fitness. The entire course is run on natural surfaces with a finish on
the track inside the stadium. The event is hosted at no cost as a service
to the community by Santa Rita High School and the Santa Rita XC Program.
We hope you enjoy this event and look forward to growing it into an anticipated
annual event.

admission or team entry fee is being charged for this event and all resources
are being funded by the Santa Rita XC Program and Santa Rita HS as a service to
the community. This event will have the feel of an "old school" XC event that
speaks to the spirit of the sport. We hope that you and your athletes enjoy
this opportunity to run in a unique format and watch both middle school and
high school athletes compete on the same venue together.
PACKET PICKUP: Packets will include tags with each
registered runner's name/school/race that will be pinned to each runner's
uniform and collected in the finish chute for results.
MEDICAL SUPPORT: The Santa Rita HS Athletic Trainer will be
on site to provide medical support.
REGISTRATION FEE: $0
to first 8 TUSD Middle Schools and to first 4 High Schools to Register
