The Sally Meyerhoff Milesplit Elite mile was named to honor Sally Meyerhoff who was killed in a bike accident on March 8th. The Chandler Rotary was one of Sally's favorite meets and her Dad Tom talked about her life, her dreams and her foundation. Tom was joined by Sally's Mom Cindi, her brother Daniel and her Uncle Mike. Her sister was back at school at St. John's.
Rolonda Jumbo, a junior at Chinle High School, won the girls 3200 meter run in 10:38.65.
Billy Orman, a senior from Tuba City, won the 3200 Meter Run in 9:07.25 after winning the Milesplit Mile in 4:13.55
Tope Williams, a freshman at Chandler High School, won the girls 200 Meter Dash in 25.11
Trae Armstrong, a junior at Deer Valley, won the boys 200 Meter Dash in 21.44.
Ashley Kealamakia, a senior at Liberty High School, won the girls 800 meter run with a US#2 time of 2:13.78.
Dylan Souza, a junior from Catalina Foothills, won the boys 800 meter run with a 2:54.63

Jaide Stepter, a junior at Canyon del Oro, won the girls 300 Meter Hurdles in 44.06.
Paul Perkins, a junior at Chandler High School, won the boys 300 Hurdles with a time of 38.07.
Alexis Roberts, a sophomore from Chandler High School, won the 400 Meter Dash in 57.43.
Julia Foster, a senior from Albuquerque NM, won the Sally Meyerhoff Milesplit Mile. The event was named after Sally Meyerhoff who was killed in a bicycle accident on March 8, 2011. The Chandler Rotary was one of her favorite events when she was a competitor at Mountain Pointe in Arizona. Sally's Dad, Tom, is holding the finish banner on the right.
Billy Orman, a senior from Tuba City, won the boys Milesplit Mile in 4:13.55.
Trae Armstong, a junior from Deer Valley, won the boys 100 meter dash with a time of 10.66.
Sharrelle Jordan, a sophomore from Chandler High School, won the 100 hurdles in a wind aided 14:19. She had the fastest time in the prelims with an unaided mark of 14.35
Taylor Cameron, a senior from Westwood, won the boys 110 hurdles in 14.00. Cameron was the fastest qualifier from the prelims with 13.98.
