Relays
The boy's 4x800m relay teams have not actually run all of their top guys in one race yet, so it's hard to tell who exactly has the edge in this event. Desert Vista boys look to have the strongest squad of 800m runners followed by Highland High School's arsenal of mid-distance runners. This race could very well come down to the final 100m just like in cross-country.
On the girl's side, Chandler leads the State in both the 4x100m (46.77) and the 4x800m (9:18.05) and put together a 3:48 performance at Chandler just 2 seconds off their State Record from last year. They prove to be the clear favorite for this year's state title.
