State Meet Highlights - Saturday Division 2

Alyssa Thompson (Sr., Salpointe Catholic) won 3 more individual State Championship titles to go with her State Title in the triple jump Friday night. Her other titles came in the Long Jump (19-3), the 100 hurdles in 14.78 and the 300 hurdles in 42.55. Thompson's 42.55 is ranked US#13 and is an Arizona #2 All Time mark.

Rachel Johns (Sr., Notre Dame) had the fastest prelim time in the 100 hurdles heading into the finals but caught a spike on the track and fell after the first hurdle.

Salpointe Catholic junior Michaela Crunkleton-Wilson took home three individual titles with a win in the 100 dash in 11.89, the 200 dash in 24.47 and the 400 dash in 55.41. Michaela's 400 mark puts her at the #2 spot in Arizona.

Sophomore Tiffany Riley (Liberty) won the 800 meter run with a swift 2:15.54.

Tatiana Gillick (Jr., Flagstaff) added a 2nd State Title in the 3200 meter run (11:08.95).

The Flagstaff girls won the girls 4x800 meter relay in 9:34.69 to lead 8 teams under 10 minutes.

Savannah Whitehead (Sr., Marcos De Niza) earned a State Title in the Pole Vault by jumping 12-00

On the boys side Jelani Brice-Moore (Jr., Verrado) earned 2 individual State Titles in the 100 dash in 10.99 and the 400 dash in 48.51. Brice-Moore pulled up during the 200 meter dash and finished the race limping.

Ethan Homan (Sr., Cactus Shadows) won a State Title in the 800 with a quick kick with 100 meters to go for a time of 1:53.96. Brandon Bonzalez (Sr., Liberty) followed and finished 2nd in 1:54.06.

Andrew Garcia (Sr., Canyon Del Oro) added a win in the 3200 meter run (9:31.12) to go along with his 1600 meter run from Wednesday.

Dedrick Harris (Sr., Queen Creek) won both the 110 and 300 meter hurdles in 14.93 and 39.00

Liberty and Desert Edge both crossed the finish line in 3:23.23 in the 4x400 meter relay
