The start of the AIA track and field season is upon us. While some athletes have been playing different sports throughout the school year, others have been waiting for this moment since the state meet concluded last spring. With dual meets kicking off the official start of spring track season around the state this week, the Corona Aztec Invitational on March 6th was the first big test for approximately 15 teams around the greater Phoenix area. With the top 3 girls teams and top 2 boys teams from division 1 last spring all in attendance, the competition was stout.
