Cesar Chavez Breaks 4x100 State Relay Record

One year ago at the 2008 Arizona Track and Field State Championship, all three of the boys relay records fell.  Saturday night the 4x100 meter relay record fell again.  The year old record of 41.09 was held by Chandler High School but on Saturday the Cesar Chavez 4x100 team of Julian Gerdes (Sr.,), Eric Johnson (Jr.,), Adam Dixon (Jr., ) and Davonte' Neal (Fr.,) became the first team in the history of the event, in Arizona, to break 41 seconds.  The new Arizona State Meet record time of 40.90 is ranked 5th in the country.
