What sealed the deal to stay local?
Since I moved here from California just last year, I felt like I still had so much to do and see in Arizona. I wasn't ready to leave yet!
If you could pick one moment of high school to relive what would it be?
Definitely the state cross country meet this year. After being out due to injury for almost the whole season, I was so ready to be back at it again and compete.
What do you want to study in college?
I have declared nutrition as my major, and although I may change it at some point I plan on staying in the biological sciences category.
By my count you have only been running for a couple years, what do you involved in the sport? Did you imagine that you'd every run in college?
I decided to truly get involved in cross country my junior year when I moved here, purely because I wanted to meet people before my first day of school. However, I never would have thought that I would grow to love it this much and pursue running at the next level.
Are you planning on doing any post season meets or just head straight to college training?
I'm thinking that I want to do the Meet of Champions, and probably start training for college just after that.
