You are very talented in a couple of different jumps, which one is your favorite and why?
I favor long jump because I've done it the longest and I enjoy it more than all my events.
Have you had the chance to talk with your coach about what you are going to be specializing in?
No, because we have been basically been talking about the college and all my classes and my major.
Why did you pick GCC to jump for? What are your plans after community college?
Because I come from a family who doesn't have lots of money and jumps coach [Rachel] Guest is [ranked] number one in the world for her age group.
What was your favorite high school track memory?
During my run-throughs at Gaucho Relays last year and falling messing up my shoulder when everyone laughed. Then, looking at their faces when they found out that I won and blew them out.
Who has influenced your track career most up until this point? How?
My grandfather, grandmother, and coaches because they believed in me through all the hard times.
