Pitcl was a top 5km competitor as an underclassman. As a sophomore she dipped under the 19-minute mark at Desert Twilight and placed 6th in the Division IV Girls race at the AIA Cross-Country State Championships. On the track Pitcl holds PRs of 5:19.18 and 11:34.65 for 1600m and 3200m from last year's Sun Angel Classic. Unfortunately, her junior season was cut short by injury last year and she didn't compete after the O'Connor/Ken Denson Invitational. However, according to Coach Musico, "Olivia Pitcl is coming into the season healthy, but she is working her way into the season slowly to avoid a repeat of the stress fracture." Like Meghan, Pitcl will be looking to make the most of her Senior season and if she stays cautious through the fall, she could likely place top ten in the D4 Girls race at the State Championships.
