Tuba City return five of their top girls, from last year's team. At the State Championships, Tuba City's top girls were a solid nucleus between 21 and 22 minutes. Larissa Yazzie ran close to the 20-minute barrier for 5km and she holds a 3200m PR of 11:52 from her freshman year. During the spring Rochelle Jackson (Jr.) and Shaelyn Honahni (So.) ran respective PRs of 5:52.35 and 6:07.67 for 1600m. Will the Lady Warriors bounce back to grab hold of a top 5 spot at the State Championships this November?
