We're taking a page from Colorado webmaster Bobby Reyes and starting a new series called 'Leap Of The Week" meant to highlight top year over year improvements from each meet.
While, Leo Daschbach (Highland, Jr.) dominated the Arizona Boys Rankings with a sub-15 performance at Desert Twilight, but Lee Nasewytewa (Desert Vista, Sr.) improved his time by almost a minute ahead of his performance in the Boys Large School Open race at last year's meet. In doing so, he recorded Desert Vista's third school record in four years, set previously by Reece Donihi and DJ Harris.
