The Birth of a Rivalry? - The Boys Championship Race may have witnessed the birth of the next rivalry between runners in the state. Cienega's Ayden Schilb just defeats Rio Rico's Roshan Tinoco-Miranda at Desert Twilight. At the Rio Rico Rattler, Ayden would score a win from behind on Roshan in the last 150 meters when Roshan's legs give out on him after pushing the pace for the majority of the race. Part of me really hopes they both push each other to greater heights in the future as part of a friendly rivalry.
