If the Snowflake girls are to win a state title, Lydia Szabo figures as a key piece in the puzzle.

Yesterday, we looked at Division 4 through the season rankings. Today we look at Division 3. Next week, it will be Divisions 1 and 2.

The idea here with Division 3 is the same as it was yesterday with Division 4. Score a hypothetical state meet, with eight places, based on the rankings. The actual state meet won't turn out exactly like that, of course, but the hypothetical meet will tell us a lot about what to look for in the actual state meet. Scoring goes 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1. If you see points below which don't match one of those numbers, you can safely assume that it's due to a tie in the rankings.

Rankings below are sorted by team, then by individuals within the team. That enables us to get a very quick read on any points that may become important once the state meet begins.

Yesterday, we started with the boys, so we'll turn that around and start with the girls today.
