The Division III boys race gets off to a start at the 2021 AIA State Cross Country Championships at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Mingus Union senior Cesar Diaz had a stellar season last year as he was able to improve his personal best in the 5,000 meters by one minute and 28 seconds while en route to capturing the state individual championship. Diaz comes into the 2022 season as the top overall returner and No. 5 most improved athlete.
