Division III Southern Section Top Returners: Boys

Rio Rico senior Jor Trujillo-Lira at the 2021 Desert Twilight XC Festival at The Links Golf Club in Phoenix. Trujillo-Lara ran 15:50.70 to finish in third place in the boys championship race at Desert Twilight, recording a new personal best in the process. He remains one of the bigger question marks heading into the 2022 cross country as the top ranked returning athlete in the Division III Southern section -- Trujillo-Lara didn't race on the track during the spring at all.
