Division IV East Section Top Individual Returners: Boys

Chandler Prep senior JD Ouellette (center) in the Division IV boys race at the 2021 AIA State Cross Country Championships at Cave Creek in Phoenix. Ouellette ran 17:37.20 to finish in 15th place at last year's state meet for cross country. On the track during the spring, Ouellette qualified for the state meet in the 800m (2:08.07), the 1600m (4:44.74) and 3200m (10:12.95). He comes into the 2022 cross country as the top returning athlete in the Division IV East section with his time of 16:24.00 over 5,000 meters.
