Shadow Mountain senior Colton Pestka (right) in the Division III boys race at the 2021 AIA State Cross Country Championships at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Pestka is the younger brother of recently-graduated senior Nate -- who won the 1600m and 3200m state title this past track season. He is the second runner for a very strong Shadow Mountain team that is projected to have their scoring five finish in the top 10 in the Division III Metro section. The Matadors are the top team in the section headed into 2022.
