Salpointe Catholic senior Diego Veliz in the 400m at The Nighthawk Early Bird Invite at Ironwood Ridge High School in Oro Valley this past weekend. Veliz won the race in a time of 49.29, which makes him the fastest athlete in the event for Division III after three weeks of competition.
