Eastmark sophomore Bryson Nielsen (right) in the elite 1600m at the Nike Chandler Rotary Invitational at Chandler High School last month. Nielsen is ranked No. 1 in Division for the 1600m with his time of 4:15.14, and is second overall in the state for the event, after seven weeks of the outdoor track and field season. He is also ranked No. 3 in the 800m at 1:56.38 and No. 2 in the 3200m at 9:25.15.
