Division 3

 

1            Billy Orman (Sr., Tuba City) is the top returner in the state with multiple Invitational wins and State Championships as well as a Foot Locker National Finalist.  In 2009 Orman won the Hopi Harrier, placed 2nd at the Peaks Invitational,  won the Chinle Invite,  8th at Doug Conley, won the Bud Davis Invitational,  finished 2nd at the Holbrook CC Invite,  won the 3A North CC Regionals, won the 3A AZ CC State Meet,  2nd at the Nike Southwest Regionals, 8th at the Foot Locker West Regionals and 34th at Foot Locker Nationals.

2            Jorge Martinez (Sr., Alhambra) placed 3rd at the Peaks Invitational,  3rd at the Ray Wherley Invite,  won the George Young Invitational, finished 2nd at Doug Conley,  won the 5A II Metro Regionals and the 5A I AZ CC State Meet and finished 13th at the Nike Southwest Regionals,

3             Cory Breinholt (Sr., Highland) finished 3rd at the Padre Invitational,  5th in the junior race at the Chandler Invitational, 6th at the George Young Invitational, 22nd at the Desert Twilight Festival, 17th at Doug Conley, won the Gilbert City CC Championships, finished 2nd at 5A I Central Regionals and 5th at the 5A I AZ CC State Meet.

 

Cory was out for most of the 2010 Track Season with an injury and returned for the regional and State Meet.

4           Alejandro Montano (Sr., Catalina Magnet) placed 6th at the Peaks Invitaional, won the Catalina Cross Country Clasic,  finished 3rd at the Desert Twilight Festival, 2nd at the 4A II Gila Regionals and finished 3rd a the 4A II AZ CC State Meet.
