Arizona high school track and field athletes recorded several personal bests and school records during meets held April 10-11.
Below, check out the athletes who broke through this past week and will look to carry that momentum into a great 2026 season.

Phallon Watts (Camelback, Phoenix) threw 145-3 in the discus at Westwood Hohokam on April 10, improving from his previous best of 117-8. The mark ranks #26 in Arizona and set a school record for Camelback High School. Watts also improved his shot put from 35-7 to 37-6 at the same meet.
Alyssa Moronez (Crismon, Queen Creek) cleared 12-1 in the pole vault at the Pioneer Invitational on April 11, improving from her previous mark of 11-7. The height ranks #3 in Arizona and #1 among seniors in the state, establishing a school record for Crismon High School.
Iyana Lewis (West Point, Avondale) ran 25.71 in the 200 meters at Westwood Hohokam on April 10, improving from her previous best of 26.57 set in March 2026. The time ranks #38 in Arizona and places her 5th among 68 competitors. Lewis also improved her 400 meters from 1:00.26 to 59.18 at the same meet.
Brady Moore (ALA - Vistancia, Peoria) cleared 6-3 in the high jump at Westwood Hohokam on April 10, improving from his previous best of 5-6 set in April 2025. The mark ranks #38 in Arizona and #4 among sophomores, setting a school record for ALA - Vistancia. Moore also improved his 200 meters from 24.83 to 24.34 at the same meet.
Quinton Moody (Notre Dame Preparatory, Scottsdale) threw 165-9 in the discus at the Pioneer Invitational on April 11, improving from his previous best of 150-6. The mark ranks #7 in Arizona and #3 among juniors statewide. Moody also improved his shot put from 42-10 to 46-1 at the same meet.
Haley Reyes (Cactus, Glendale) cleared 5-2 in the high jump at the Hal Anders Invitational on April 11, improving from her previous best of 5-0 set in March 2026. The mark ranks #16 in Arizona in the state.
Addison Hix (Rio Rico) ran 15.83 in the 100m hurdles at the Pioneer Invitational on April 11, improving from her previous best of 17.22 set in March 2026. The time ranks #24 in Arizona, establishing a school record for Rio Rico High School. Hix also improved her 300m hurdles from 47.45 to 46.14 at the same meet.
