"The original plan was to try to take it out easier but my 4:46 1st mile was not part of the plan," said Harvey Nelson (Sr., Catalina Foothills).

Division 2 boys heading into the final 800 meters of the 5K race. Lucky from Campo Verde is in first with Harvey Nelson in 2nd. Nelson won the race in the final meters.

Division 2 girls just passed the mile mark heading up the hill.

Tatiana from Flagstaff has a comfortable lead with 800 to go as she heads to the finish line for her 3rd AZ State Championship.
