AIA Meet of Champions

After Brophy High School has graciously hosted the Meet of Champions the past several years, the AIA has taken over the running of the Meet of Champions. There will be some differences to this meet from past versions (including the Luke Greenway Meet). The main difference is that invitees and their marks will come strictly from the state track meet. There will be one heat and flight of each event. The sprints will be limited to nine entrants, distance runs and field events will be limited to 12. The javelin will only have ten athletes invited to the meet. Since javelin and discus cannot compete at the same time, javelin will be earlier than all other events. There will be three alternates per event.
The meet will be at Arizona State University and the Joe Sellah Track facility.
Invitations will be emailed to all coaches of qualifying athletes on Sunday, May 5 before noon.
Coaches will have to enter athletes using athletic.net.
Entry deadline will be Monday evening 6:00 PM.
There will be three alternates per event. Alternates would be notified Tuesday morning if they have qualified for the meet.
Event results from the four state meets will be combined to create the field.
There is no entry fee for athletes.
Admissions will be charged for spectators.
$10 for adults
$5 for students
