Meet Information
Dear Coach or Athletic Director
Enclosed are our two flyers on the invitationals that we host. The course is located at Tumbleweed Regional Park, right behind the Chandler Tennis Center. This course is located on McQueen Road, south of Germann and north of Queen Creek Road.
We try to keep our costs of our invitational down. Costs are constantly rising; especially in regards to medals, trophies, Portajohns and workers. Please help us keep our costs down by doing the following: Pay your entry fee prior to the meet and have athletes police their area.
Please call or email your intention to attend. Email address is shapiro.dave@chandler.k12.az.us
Miscellaneous Information:
Chandler Invite: (9/13) Four divisions. Boys will start then girls 60 seconds afterwards. Finishers will be given a place card. Fill and turn in to the scorers table. Team score are your top finishers in each race. You can not enter up in a division. In other words you can not run a junior in the senior race. In event of a tie for a trophy, the times of the scorers will be added up with the fastest team receiving the trophy. This is a great early season meet as runners go against athletes their same grade level. Approximately 25-30 schools will participate.
Ojo Rojo (9/20): This traditionally scored early season meet is a good tune up for the second half of the season. Good talented races in the past. Concessions and T-Shirts will be available for sale on site.
