Sahlman, a junior at Newbury Park (CA) High School running unattached, used a 60-second final lap to overcome Texas star Judson Greer to win the mens mile at the Sundown Track Series Meet #1, running 4:09.86 for the mile with a 4:08.61 split for 1600.
