The Cesar Chavez Champions are proud to host the 2021 Cesar Chavez Classic! This event will feature chip timing and will mimic the Sectional Course that will be run at Cesar Chavez Park at the end of the season.

Entry Fee: $200 combined, $100 per gender

Race Day Setup (locations are labeled on course map)
Parking: Bus parking is located at the lot west of the park. Please see the map for details.
Packet Pickup: Packet pickup will take place in front of the pavilion at the southwest corner of the park.
Team Camps: Team camps will be set up along the north end of the soccer fields, located to the west of the start line.
Hospitality: Breakfast will be provided for coaches at the amphitheater (near the finish line) during Coaches Meeting.
First Aid/Water: An athletic trainer and water will be available to athletes at the finish line.
Awards: The awards ceremony will take place at the amphitheater (near the finish line).

Miscellaneous
Chips: Bibs are equipped with disposable chips.
Course: The course will be flagged. Course monitors will ensure that athletes stay on course. Course monitors will wear masks and gloves. A cyclist/rabbit will guide the first-place runner of each event.
Results: Live results will be posted by Race Timers: http://results.racetimers.com/
Medals: Frosh/Soph Race: Top 10 athletes receive medals at awards ceremony, athletes 11-25 receive medals at finishing chute. Top boys and girls freshman/sophomore teams receive trophies.
Varsity Race: Top 10 athletes receive medals at awards ceremony, athletes 11-25 receive receive medals at finishing chute. Top boys and girls varsity teams receive trophies.
Open Race: Top 25 athletes receive medals at finishing chute.
Additional Services: There will be a concession stand, music, and a live shirt printing company on site.
