When did you first get involved with track and field? How long have you been running:
I first got involved with track because all of my older siblings were running for the Cheetahs and I would do the lollipop races and finally when I was old enough to join I did. I've been running since 6 and started hurdling at 10
What is a typical training week like for you?
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are speed work/endurance days and Tuesday and Thursday I do hurdle drills and starts
What are your goals for the upcoming track season?
13.50 in the 100 hurdles and 43.00 in the 300s
How do you prepare yourself mentally for a race? Do you have any superstitions?
I like to talk to listen to loud music to get my hype, it clears my mind.
I have a ring that my cousin gave me and I always put it in the left side of my bra before races
What does your season look like and will you be competing in any out of state track meets during the season or post high school season?
Yes, I will be competing thought the season including state. And after state I'll be training for GSW and other summer track meets
What message would you tell younger runners who aspire to be at the top?
Don't let anyone tell you that you're not good enough to do something. If you put your mind and heart into what you love there's no way you cannot achieve it. Stay hungry and humble.
If you had to attribute your success to one thing, what would it be?
My sprint coach Eric Richardson , Hurdle coach Michelle Flannigan, and coach Scott my support system
Do you have role models or mentors in track and field?
I really look up to Sanya Richards-Ross and Christina Manning
How many events do you compete in and which event is your favorite?
I compete in the 100 and 300 hurdles and I'm a alternate for the 4x400. I loooovvveeee the 100 hurdles always have and always will

1. I don't drink milk
