Fifty percent of the teams and the top 25 individuals in each section move on to State. If there are an odd number of teams in the race then the 50% is rounded up to include the next team.
Jeffrey Miller (Sr., Page High School), Carlos Villarreal (Sr., Rio Rico) and Mario Hanna (So., Moon Valley) won the section races with Carlos Villarreal being the clear favorite for the Division 3 State Meet. Also in the mix will be teammate Oscar Amaya (Sr., Rio Rico) and Sawyer Sprung (Sr., Sabino).
Page High School won section 1 with 47 points over Chinle with 68 points. Rio Rico won section 2 with 42 points over Pueblo Magnet's 60 points and Tempe High School won section 3 with 39 points over Seton Catholic's 95 points.
