It was a great weekend of marks in the throws including Canyon Del Oro's Turner Washington throwing state leading marks of 63'1.25" in the shot put and 208'4" in the discus, while Desert Vista's Elijah Mason was equally as impressive sweeping the throws at the Aztec Invite with a 61'10.50" mark in the shot and 198'3" mark in the discus. Looking forward to a head to head heavyweight matchup between these two throwers at some point this season!
