People's Vote: Rylan Stubbs

Only a Sophomore, Rylan opened his season running 4:28.28 for 1600 at Desert Classic in Queen Creek. A few weeks later at the Scottsdale Distance Classic he ran a 29 second PR in the 3200 meters to take 1st in 9:35. In April, he broke 2 minutes for the first time running 1:56.50 to win the 800-meter run at the Pioneer Invitational and then at the Desert Vista Last Chance meet, he PR'ed by six seconds to win the 1600 in 4:22.09. He finished the season earning runner-up in Division II's 1600 and 3200 races. Post-season he was part of the #Breakin9 collaboration for the 3200 field at the Arizona Meet of Champions. He finished 5th in 9:21, and is ranked top-ten in Arizona for all three distance races, top-5 for 800 & 1600. We wish him the best this summer.
