Girls 3200 - Hall And Stutesman Push Each Other Under 11
Hana Hall (Flagstaff, Jr.) spearheaded the Girls' 3200 field later that evening. While Alisia Honyumptewa (Chinle, Sr.) and Precious Robinson (Pinon, Sr.) made the push to challenge Hall, Emily Stutesman (Deer Valley, Sr.) broke through the chase pack and took control of the race halfway through, trading the lead with the cross-country State Champion throughout the remainder of the race.
Ultimately Hall secured the victory in 10:54.85 her second-best performance of the season. Though she didn't defeat Hall on Staurday night, Stutesman held on to clock in at 10:58, her best performance since her freshman year.
