Arizona XC Invitationals - Thus Far
Thanks to David Shapiro, Arizona MileSplit has received what Mr. Shapiro has sent out to coaches across Arizona regarding the 2020 cross country invitational schedule.
Points spotlighted by Shapiro in his communication:
- Several of the invites listed are currently trying to resolve permit issues with their course and the city parks and recreation department.
- Many will have restrictions on the size of permissible rosters or competed in sessions.
- Contact the school listed as the host school.
- Of the invitationals, Desert Twilight meets, The Salpointe Meet, and probably the Rio Rico meet will have open races for those athletes running unattached.
- If you need further clarification on what can or cannot be done for these athletes refer to AIA bylaw 14.4 and 14.5.
Lastly, if you are putting on an invitational this season and have last-minute changes or updates, please feel free to reach out to us via email: dza@milesplitaz.com and we will post it on our site ASAP.
