Division III North Individual Top Returners: Boys

Mingus Union senior Cesar Diaz in the Division III boys race at the 2021 AIA State Cross Country Championships at Cave Creek Golf Course in Phoenix. Diaz is the defending state champion in cross country and ran 2:00.05 in the 800m, 4:27.35 in the 1600m and 9:42.60 in the 3200m during the spring on the track. He enters the 2022 cross country as the top individual returner in the Division III North section, and the whole state overall, with his time of 15:28.85 in the 5,000 meters.
