Valley Vista senior Blaise Nelson (middle) in the 100m at The Richard Thompson South Mountain Classic this past weekend. Nelson ran a wind-aided (+2.7) time of 10.66 in the 100m, which makes him the fastest athlete in the event in the whole state after the first week of the season.
