Red Mountain senior Tyler Mathews -- who is the state record holder in the 800m -- anchors the 4x800m relay team at the Arcadia Invitational on April 8. The Mountain Lions lead the state at 7:56.44 after eight weeks of the outdoor track and field season, but look likely to lower that time even further as a handful of relay members have lowered their personal bests since last running the event.
