When did you first get involved with track and field? How long have you been throwing:
I start track and field in middle school but I didn't really have a coach in the throwing events so my career really started in high school.
What is a typical training week like for you?
Well I train in the weight room every day and then have throwing after school everyday as well
What are your goals for the upcoming track season?
My goals are to go out and compete the best that I can and in the end I want to win state
How do you prepare yourself mentally for a race? Do you have any superstitions?
No superstitions I just go out and compete the best that I can
What does your season look like and will you be competing in any out of state track meets during the season or post high school season?
My season has a decent amount of invites in it and I competed in the Arcadia track meet
What message would you tell younger runners who aspire to be at the top?
You need to work hard everyday even if it is hard you have to push through it
If you had to attribute your success to one thing, what would it be?
Hard work and my coaches - they push me to be the best I can be
Do you have role models or mentors in track and field?
I have no real specific role models I just look up to all of the elite athletes in my sport
How many events do you compete in and which event is your favorite?
I compete in two events and I like them both the same
