When did you first get involved with track and field? How long have you been running:
I fell in love with track freshman year.
What is a typical training week like for you?
I have trained year-round for 4 years in varsity volleyball, basketball and track so every day I am in training.
What are your goals for the upcoming track season?
I started last season off strong but unfortunately ended early with two stress fractures, so my goal is to pick up where I left off, and continue to best myself at each meet!
How do you prepare yourself mentally for a race? Do you have any superstitions?
I prepare for a race by working my butt off at practice every day, and then I get a good sleep and clear my head for meet day
What does your season look like and will you be competing in any out of state track meets during the season or post high school season?
I plan to compete at Arcadia, in California and the Great Southwest, in New Mexico.
What message would you tell younger runners who aspire to be at the top?
Keep a clear mind, an open heart, a full tummy...and NEVER skip leg day :)
If you had to attribute your success to one thing, what would it be?
My heart is out on the track, so it helps that I love what I do. I am successful in my sport because it makes me happy.
Do you have role models or mentors in track and field?
Old man Coach Hardt taught me to work hard, race harder, to love what I do and to always have fun doing it.
How many events do you compete in and which event is your favorite?
At state I've competed in 100 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, 4x100, 4x400 and Triple Jump, but at the Great Southwest I competed in the decathlon so I've kinda done them all! Triple Jump is definitely my favorite.

- I'm unusually strong for me frame and can squat 285 pounds.
- I don't have much time for bathings so I enjoy my reading in the shower! haha
