Top Times of the Week
Girls
Evelynn Carr from American Leadership Academy took 1st place at the Casteel Invitational with a time of 17:56. Freshman, Kyah Zurek from Casteel, was in the same race and took second overall with a time of 18:11; and teammate Jadyn Herron-Jonap took 3rd in the varsity girls' field as well with a clocking of 18:47. Down in southern Arizona, junior Kylie Wild of Salpointe Catholic won the John Gleeson Lancer Invitational in a time of 18:52.
Girls' Cross Country Times in Order from Oct 12-18
Boys
Dayton Carlson won the Casteel Invitational with at the time of 15:26. Roshan Tinoco-Miranda of Rio Rico won the John Gleeson Lancer Invitational in a time of 15:36. Brady Eager, the senior from Mesa Mountain View, took 2nd overall at the Casteel Invitational with a time of 15:48. And Aiden Tinen, a senior from Skyline just missed runner-up status as he crossed the line at Casteel at 15:49.
