Glendale Prep senior Zoe Rich edges out Phoenix Country Day junior Kimi Cahoon in the second heat of the Division IV 800m final at last year's AIA State Track and Field Championships at Mesa Community College. Rich, the defending state champion in the event, enters 2023 as the fastest returning athlete with her time of 2:17.67 in Division V, the AIA's newly created division this year.
