Phoenix Country Day sophomore Sam Novak in last year's Division IV pole vault final at The AIA State Track and Field Championships at Mesa Community College. Novak comes into the 2023 season as the top returning athlete with his mark of 13-1 in Division V, the AIA's newly created division this year.
